Futurekids’ CEO named to Women’s Leadership Board of Harvard
University’s Kennedy School of Government
Dzana Homan, CEO of Futurekids,
was recently named as a new member of the Women’s Leadership Board of
Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
The Women’s
Leadership Board helps to strengthen the leadership roles of women at all
levels of society, provide groundwork for better understanding of issues
related to women’s empowerment, and fosters the next generation of women
leaders.
“I’m honored to be a part of such a wonderful program,
stated Dzana Homan. “I really believe that women have an exceptional
opportunity for advancement and I’m looking forward to working with the
other Board members as well as the participating students on changing
those opportunities into success stories.”
Ms. Homan, who has been
the CEO of education-technology leader Futurekids for three years, knows
about challenges and opportunities. She arrived in the United States in
1994 from the former war-torn Yugoslavia, with hopes and dreams but
without family or money. She now leads a global company with operations in
65 countries worldwide.
“Education and technology are the great
equalizers,” Homan says. “And in order to be successful, you can’t be
afraid of change. I look forward to being able to mentor women on a
variety of leadership issues.”
