Futurekids Partners with The Gateway to Provide 21st Century Learning Skills

Futurekids announced today that it is partnering with theGateway.org, an extensive educational portal that provides educators with comprehensive tools and resources to integrate 21st Century skills into everyday teaching and learning.

Sponsored by the National Education Association, theGateway.org is a consortium effort that allows teachers free, quick and easy access to thousands of educational resources found on federal, state, university, non-profit and commercial Internet sites.

Teachers and educators now have access to 21st Century teaching tools, including thousands of quality learning resources through the latest state-of-the-art multi-faceted search technology. Teachers can reinforce their core curriculum with learning resources from NASA, PBS, National Science Foundation and more than 700 other educational content providers.

“This is a very important partnership for us,” explained Dzana Homan, CEO of Futurekids. “As part of our role, Futurekids will offer a 21st century perspective on professional development, including integration of new classroom technologies and the infusion of technology into core curricula.
