Over
the past twelve years serving over 100 NYC schools
K-12 with flexible enrichment programming, aligned to school
missions, content, methodology, theme, attendance improvement,
motivational and parent outreach needs, FUTUREKIDS NYC has
had multiple opportunities to craft, run, expand and research
innovative, academic achievement contributory and experiential
product, performance and portfolio learning programs. |

FUTUREKIDS demonstrated NYC
enrichment program effectives also include its:
PS 189 21st Century learning After School ELL –Science and Language
Arts student enrichment programs with parent coordination and
outreach- The Little Scientists Emergent Science Literacy program
and the FUTUREKIDS CyberCultural Diversity program. Each of
these flexible, enrichment programs culminated in a student
run - technology infused expo of science demonstrations, family
digital and paper towel memory quilts, desktop publications
of family stories, a dictionary of cultural sayings, accompanying
PowerPoint of the project’s history, and a family circle gathering
showcasing student products attended by parents/community. This
programming ran for 3 years. It included an after school, Saturday,
and summer enrichment schedule. |
